Zara Spanish Clothing Profile

Zara is the flagship chain store of the Inditex group, the world's largest apparel retailer.   Spanish multinational clothing company headquartered in Arteixo, Galicia is founded by Amancio Ortega.

Inditex group is made up of almost a hundred companies dealing in activities related to textile design, production and distribution. Inditex operates over 6,600 stores worldwide and in addition to Zara owns brands Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Oysho, Pull and Bear, Stradivarius, Tempe, Uterqüe, and also a low-cost brand Lefties.

Much of the production for the Zara brand is in Spain and Portugal, particularly for its Zara brand, but many other brands are in countries where labor cost are low -- Morocco, China, and Turkey.

Zara includes many different styles, from daily clothes, more informal, to the more serious or formal, through dresses and suits for festival events. Fashion are included for women, men and children.

Zara is well known for its creative and design teams with two seasonal release collections – Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer.
