Venture Including Cypress Equities Looking to Sell Streets of Woodfield for Big Profit
A Dallas venture group including Cypress Equities has worked to spruce up the Streets of Woodfield property and is ready to sell the fully-leased shopping center at a profit. The venture group hired brokerage firm Eastdil Secured LLC to sell the 713,260-square-foot shopping center at 601 North Martingale Road, near I-290/IL-53 and Higgins Road in Schaumburg. Nearby Woodfield Mall to the north is 2.2 million square feet.
The group paid $118 million in 2012 and asking $205 million for the property in Fall 2014. Several upgrades are expected this Fall including new signage for tenants with LED signs, repainting of some of the storefront facades, and the addition of store directories and other identification and directional markers for shoppers.
