Former Bally's Site in Schaumburg in Development; to Include Egg Harbor Cafe and Starbucks
A new Egg Harbor Cafe, a Starbucks and a third restaurant are in the works at the former Bally's site at the northwest corner of Meacham Road and American Lane. The new development, just west of Woodfield Mall, is located at 1020 North Meacham Road and is expected to be open for business Spring 2015.
Egg Harbor Cafe, also located in neighboring Arlington Heights and Barrington, is a breakfast and lunch restaurant that closes daily at about 2:00 p.m. Starbucks will include a drive-through. The area has also recently seen development of the former Great Indoors building, which is now home to a successful Xsport Fitness -- a 24-hour fitness center -- and a PGA Tour Superstore. Xsport/PGA facility (businesses not-affiliated) is in a building that was recently the largest vacant commercial building in Schaumburg.
PGA Tour Superstore opened in 2012. Xsport Fitness opened in 2013.
A Starbucks is also located nearby in Woodfield Mall and at Streets of Woodfield.
